Core Uses of EPDM Container Sealing Strips
2025-06-06
1. Sealing Container Door Seams
- Waterproof and dustproof: EPDM's excellent water resistance and elasticity can fit tightly against the container door seams, preventing rain, dust, and mud from entering the box, and protecting the goods (especially precision instruments, food, medicines, and other items that are sensitive to humidity).
- Buffering and shock absorption: Reduce the noise and wear caused by the collision of the box door during transportation.
2. Reefer Container
- Insulation: EPDM's low temperature resistance (-50℃~+150℃) makes it suitable for reefer boxes, effectively isolating external heat, maintaining a low temperature environment inside the box, and reducing energy consumption.
- Airtightness: Prevent cold air leakage and ensure the safe transportation of temperature-controlled goods (such as frozen food and vaccines).
3. Special containers
- Chemical transportation: EPDM is acid- and alkali-resistant and corrosion-resistant, and is suitable for sealing containers containing liquid chemicals or corrosive goods.
- Long-term outdoor storage: Resistant to ultraviolet rays, ozone, and extreme weather, to prevent aging and cracking of the sealing strip.
