Classification and characteristics of window seals
In order to install the windows tightly and avoid leakage of wind and water, window seals are usually installed, which can be dustproof, waterproof and soundproof. However, many people don't know much about it, especially when it comes to the installation. The following editor introduces the installation method and precautions of window seals.
Door and window sealing strips are mainly used in plastic decorative windows and doors, aluminum alloy doors and windows, and wooden doors and windows. Plastic steel door and window sealing strips on the market are generally formed by extrusion of PVC, modified PVC, EPDM, elastomeric sealing strips (including TPV, TPE, TPR, SEBS) and silicone.
Window seals can be divided into three categories: door leaf cover seals, wool tops, and glass seals (rubber strips) according to different uses. The door leaf sealing strip is mainly used for sealing between the door panel and the door frame, while the top is mainly used for sealing between the door frame and the door leaf, and the glass sealing strip is mainly used for sealing between the glass and the door leaf and the frame.
